Watching Movies had never been so much of fun, and never so exciting.Watch the face of  movie reviews change forever as MTV announces the Tickr LIVE Movie Review.Say goodbye to cliched reviews,over-the-top opinions, market analyis, film theories and the entire bunch of Pundits as MTV now puts you in the hot seat to review your own choice of flicks and share it with others the very moment the opinions are formed.The views will be pouring in from viewers across India, sitting at the theatres,First Day First Show!You get a chance to share what you feel and the Tickr would convey your reactions to the world immediately!

YOU pick the posers and YOU rip the losers-This is Your Choice and Your Voice!

The Tickr LIVE Movie Review premieres on 17th of October and then every friday thereafter where a new movie would be reviewed on the Tickr.The fun is just starting!

Here are some FAQ's which will help clear your doubts(hopefully):

1.Why on earth should I/We/The pretty girl next door be doing this?

Keep that chin up Soldier!You are sacrificing your valuable time(and pocket money)to prevent Youngistaan from watching a bad film.We are all indebted to you(*teary eyed*)Secondly, unless you are someone who hails from Mars, you have been sharing your opinion on moviews already with your friends ,family, pet chihuahua and your bedside pillow already!Here is your chance to extend your listeners(and make them more remotely human) as you get a chance to share YOUR own unbiased review of a movie with the rest of the world(Yes, even that cute girl you have a crush on watches the Tickr).And finally, this is too much fun to miss out!

2.How does this work?Do I have to go through a huge selection procedure again?

You can tattoo the phrase 'Tickr Movie Review Rocks' on your forehead and send the Tickr snaps(would sure make for a good laugh :D)or else you could send a mail to tickr@mtvindia.com with the subject line "I want to watch.... "

     For eg. "I want to watch Karzzzzz "

Please mention your location in the mail.The Tickr will reply back to confirm about the first show available at your local theatres.It might be at 10 am, 12 noon or even 3 pm.Ideally, if the first show at your local theatres is at 12 noon, the chances of YOU reviewing the movie are high because the movie review will be from 12 noon-3 pm on the Tickr.

3.How will I review the movie from the cinema hall?

Take a cellphone with you(obly for the review purpose, you naughty mind!)While the movie is on, keep sending your updates to the Tickr, as and when it happens.Himesh walks in, tries to act funny, says a boring dialogue for no reason at all, Urmila Kisses Himesh-whatever is hot and what's not, whatever you find interesting,send it to the Tickr that very moment.SMS TICKR your name your update to 56882.This will be shown LIVE on the Tickr.

eg.Ramesh from Chandigarh-Himesh is singing a lame song while the guy next to me is snoring loudly.

eg.Neha from Bangalore-Is it just me or does Himesh look like a drugged Malaysian monkey in this scene?

The reviews would keep pouring in from all over as Youngistaan will await YOUR reviews on which movies to watch and which movies to avoid.If the reviews are good, you might even achieve iconic status in your locality.And that's not all.All the reviewers who feature on the MTV Tickr will get a limited edition Tickr T-Shirt. ^_^

The Moderators-In A New Light(Or Is It Darkness?)

Every community is like a social hierachy with different structures,and certain people are  responsbile for those structural set ups.These mythical power gods monitoring over the community are worshipped/loved/hated/mocked by all and sundry.They are known by many names and many fables..and to the common newbies they are known as mods ^_^

Ok,enough of tech -talK! This post attempts to make sense of the euphoria or the insanity that surrounds this particular position..that of the moderators :P

The Roadies Community on Orkut has 7 moderators whose orkut profiles go by the name:-

\Nitin/, ÅMÏŦ -, Hardwork, Mystique, Aeshmã Daevã, Sigmund Freud-, Sehran

Lets try and shed some light on these heavenly warriors(or is it hell's own demons?) called the moderators :-

1.Sehran:The face of a potential hubby for the girls.Every single day a thread called I love Sehran is created(and subsequntly deleted).Apparently his total pending fraandship requests match that of Webbie's recent visitor's list everyday.

A typical Delhite,his hobbies include singing,playing the guitar(guttur guttur), lusting over goats and making lewd videos with co mod Nitin.When not in a semi dazed state,Sehran can be found moderating the community,working day and night with the MTV crew to give us RBG and other such bonanzas and drooling over beautiful members.We wish him all the best for his lust..err..just views about the community. ^_^

2.Nitin:Here comes a combo of a visionary(eccentric?) genius, the master of pwnage and by far the face of sarcastic intelligensia in the community.He is someone who half the community adores and the other half  hates.When he is working with Sehran in the MTV  office(his internship ended,but he will be back..terminator style :P) ,Nitin likes to have his share of maggi(and lick the plates) and get high on badam milk coffee.His hobbies include pwnage, sarcasm and the occasional nice helpful nature(when he takes nice pills).His fame comes from his colurful vocabulary towards noobs, occasional rom coms on the community with co mod Mystique and his close association with all that bizzarly sensible.He is also a fan of cyanide and happiness, and metal rock.This goes out to Nitin, the future face of sensible insanity \m/

3.Amit:This is apna modman of the community.He is the one whom webbie has exlusively dedicated a bhajan :P.His looks can give M.S. Dhoni a complex(he still cant get any hot chics :P)His hobbies include flirting, being vella,and more flirting.When he is not doing work as a senior HR manager for CCD, he can be found on gtalk and yahoo fraandshipping members.He has a nack of late night chats and early morning deletions, overall a hot favourite among the members.We wish Amit can finally stick to hitting on one girl in the community, by say 2050 -_-

4.Sigmund Freud:The community now has an exclusive reincarnated aavatar(or bhatakti aatma :P)of the famous psychologist.Apparently due to certain whimsical choices(read Freudean slips :D)the dainty spirit has had a change of heart(and gender too O_o) and is now a petite female studying psychology at LSR college in Delhi.She is defined by her characterisitc wit in the list of deleted threads, and by her apparently strong intimate feelings for co mod Aeshma.She is also defined by her strong views in and around community issues and a brilliant sense of humour.We wish our own dear Siggy a safe journey to the world beyond or good marks in her exams, whatever comes first .^_^

5.Mystique:She is perhaps the most mysterious among all, both by her nature and  by her seldom yet effective presence around the community.Those lucky few who have claimed seeing her are still suffering from an eternal attraction towards her beauty.Yes, as far as legends go Mystique is supposed to be the emblem of feminine beauty and anyone crossing her path is doomed with a tragic fate.Her red DP gives both an alluring sing of attraction and the warning signs of danger.She is obsessed in love with co mod Nitin and has a nack of turning up at the right moment to delete threads when people are just getting sweet.Here is wishing Mystique a comfortably veiled life shrouded in mystry and Nitin's insasnity :D

6.Hardwork:Hardy,the youngest and the beloved of all.She is perhaps in the true sense of the term a member's mod.She is always there to sort out the queries whenever members have them(either she is omnipotent or totally jobless :D)She has a innocence in her which defines her natural charm(why on earth am I being so sweet?)but she is equally sensible in her decisions.Her hobbies include music,voice chats and helping out her friends with their problems. Although none have a clue to her real persona, all agree that she does justice to her name.She is also seen deleting threads at random, not to mention adding her own spice of humour to the content.We wish Hardy does not turn nerdy(eh,bad joke!)and keeps on  adding value to the community..and perhaps a new set of pics to her album. \m/

What comes last, is what the crowd has been waiting for :-

7.Aeshma Daeva:The fallen angel/the demonic/princess/the dark queen and a hell not more.If anyone has ever crossed the sacred sanctum of the community has come face to face with her presence at least once,and have never been the same since then.If awards were handed out on ppoularity and controversies, she would have walked out with a clean sweep(and a few cat calls and wolf whistles :D).She epitomises multitasking because she can be sweet with one member, pwn another and ban yet another at the very same moment.Since the dawn of time, brave explorers have tried to decipeher her true identity yet all expeditions have only led to a few photoshopped DPs which give an idea of her human existence.The list of deleted threads is what she calls as home which has been her domain.Her comments there itself would make for a paperback best seller as it is filled with drama, action, humour and even a hint of flirtacious romance(i can see the guys jealous already ^_^)She is someone many love to hate and others choose to worship.Her hobbies include deleting lame threads and banning the TC(she has particualr fondness for one :D), romancing Roop and siggy(yes she is a self professed lesbo O_o)

and taking the entire reigns of the community in her hands.When she is not busy deleting threads or banning members, Aeshma(read crybaby :P)can be found making GD topics on nose picking in public and openly proclaiming the community as her own kingdom.

                      People you have been warned.She has powers beyond mortal control.We wish Aeshma stays the dark fallen angel forever and an inspiration for all of us, not to mention a quick refernce on pwnage for dummies.(*Drumroll as the legend wraps up*)Amen.

Roadies Hell Down Under-The Intros Go Digital!

Sorry for staying away off the blog circuit for quite sometime..some inadvertent distractions(read ogling at gorgeous women during the pujas :P)kept me busy.So anyways, back to the ever bustling centre of activity,that is the Roadies Orkut Community.

I m sure that all of you are aware of the fiasco at the Delhi Auditions(unless you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, you should be).Some wannabe roadies(read: rowdies) were so desperate to showcase their loser attitude they ended up disrupting the whole auditions and causing valuable damage to property. They also endangered the safety of all those who had taken the pain to come as early as the night before to get a shot at their dreams of being a Roadie.The police were ultimately informed and the Delhi Audis ended up with a tragic cancellation.

It is indeed tragic that people do not realise the pains MTV crew take to organise auditions on a large scale.All people care about is vandalising and yet it is MTV that continue their promise of bringing forward Roadies Hell Down Under on schedule.It's our sake that is their concern,

Moving on, the fiasco at the Delhi Audis meant more pressure at the Mumbai Auditions with double the expected crowd, and the expectations rising even more.Another mob fiasco like Delhi seemed very much on the cards and it is taking into account all the security issues and the safety of all those appearing,MTV took a unprecendented decision

The Mumbai Ground Auditions have been cancelled.

And here comes the good news O_#

YOU can now audition for Roadies Hell Down Under from WHEREVER YOU ARE.Coz this time around,the preliminary Audition Rounds Go Digital!

Fill up the online Audition form, tell MTV why you should be a roadie and send in your pics.If you have it in you...YOU will be shortlisted for the GD phase.And then the next round of your battle would start.You can also upload vidoes and tell them why you should be the one battling the sharks hell down under.Hurry up and get moving!
